Destination Salem, Cultural Tourism, and Ireland

You may have noticed that I haven't posted anything in about a week - I've been in Dublin, Ireland, where I was privileged to be invited to speak at the Failte Ireland annual tourism conference, which was about the assets and opportunities that lie in cultural tourism.

It was a tremendous opportunity to discuss Salem as a successful case study in cultural and heritage tourism, and learn a bit about what our destination marketing counterparts are doing in Ireland.

I'll be back on track with blog posts by week's end. In the meantime - have you purchased your tickets for the Buried Treasure Appraisal event on Sunday? I hope to see you there!
