A gorgeous holiday photo... to get you in the mood

Okay, so we haven't had any snow fall yet... but isn't this picture great? I pulled it off the Hawthorne Hotel's blog this morning. I just love it.


And, by the way, the Tavern in the Hawthorne Hotel is the perfect place to warm up after walking through Salem Common on a chilly, snow-dusted evening. A bowl of chowder and glass of red wine by the fire as you settle into one of the comfy chairs is a little slice of winter heaven in Salem!
