Acupuncture at LivingWell

I'm happy to share this new service from LivingWell...

LivingWell has announced their new Community Acupuncture Room along with their traditional private Acupuncture sessions. Community Acupuncture offers an effective and affordable option for those seeking the healing benefits of Acupuncture.

The ancient art of Acupuncture arrived with the sailors of old to Historic Salem. Proven to be a successful model in health care, Community Acupuncture is becoming a mainstay of people’s wellness plans across the country.
Community Acupuncture costs are based on a sliding scale from $15-$35.  The sliding scale of payment will allow clients to treat more regularly and thus achieve more desirable results. Individual private sessions are also available.

The Community Room features heated zero gravity reclining chairs for comfort and relaxation.  Several patients are seen per hour so each person can pay less, making healing available to everybody regardless of income. It is open 7 days a week and walk in clients are welcome. Community Room Acupuncture at LivingWell is affordable, convenient and effective.

LivingWell’s mission has been to provide pain relief and wellness in a caring relaxed environment, so we are thrilled that we are able to reach out to our community and offer Acupuncture treatments at a price point that is affordable.

LivingWell is opened 7 days a week and is conveniently located at 207 Washington Street in Salem (right next to Starbucks).  Please go to LivingWellSalem.com to learn more about the treatments and services that we offer or simply call 978-740-9355.

LivingWell in Salem

Eating healthy is key to feeling good!

That was the first line of an email I received from Living Well Salem this morning, and I've got to tell you - it had me at "healthy."

LivingWell, which is a full-service spa and wellness center, where the service menu ranges from traditional massage to bodywork to holistic medicine, and now includes a series of cooking workshops.

The first series is called, Fighting the Sugar Blues with Naturally Sweet Vegetables. During three 90-minute sessions, you will learn about the highs and lows of sugar and how it effects your moods, emotions and productivity as well as how to satisfy your sugar cravings without spiking your blood sugar. The workshops, led by Chef Bill Mallette, will be fun, interactive, informative and delicious!
