Mark your calendars for Free Family Fun at Salem Maritime National Historic Site! On Saturday, April 24 the National Parks will be celebrating Junior Ranger Day, and Salem Maritime National Historic Site will have free family activities at the Regional Visitor Center (2 New Liberty Street) and the Salem Maritime National Historic Site (160 Derby Street).
But wait - there's more! April 24 is also Earth Day so the National Parks in Massachusetts are working with the MBTA to encourage you to take public transportation to your National Parks. NPS Rangers will be meeting trains at the Salem Depot on April 24th between the hours of 10am - 3pm and leading passengers on a guided, narrated walk from the Depot to the Visitor Center.
