I was delighted to find an artist-in-residence at The House of the Seven Gables yesterday! Kailyn Perry is junior at the Mass College of Art, and for the past several weeks she has been setting up her easel in the gardens of the House of the Seven Gables.
The piece she is working on, shown here, will be auctioned at the House of the Seven Gables annual fundraiser, Gables: 101, on September 18th.
When Kailyn is not painting or studying Painting and Art History, she is a curatorial intern at the Gables. She will be painting throughout September, so if you see her, make sure to say hello!
