January in Salem

It is, I must admit, the off-season in Salem. This makes it a great time to visit and explore without any lines, lower rates at the inns, no wait in the restaurants, and plenty of space for leisurely browsing in the shops. It also means that a number of our museums, attractions, and tours are closing for maintenance or have closed for the season.

Since we don't want you to arrive and find things unwelcoming and, alas, closed, here is a listing of what is open in Salem during the first two weeks of January 2009 (There are links to all of the sites at the bottom of the post.):
