2009 Photo Contest - you get to vote!

We received more than 170 submissions for Destination Salem's first annual photography contest! The review committee had their work cut out for them, as many of the pictures were really excellent. We narrowed it down, though, and the seven final images are posted on Salem.org and facebook.com/destsalem.

Now you get to vote!

The winning photographer will receive a $100 prize and their image will be featured on the cover of the 2010 Salem Visitor & Travel Guide! The second and third prize winners will receive Salem gift certificates, and you will likely see their images in the pages of the 2010 visitor guide.

You can vote! Email your favorite image number and description to destinationsalem@gmail.com, or you can "Like" and comment on the images on Destination Salem's Facebook page.

The contest will continue until December 15, and I'll post the winning photographs on the 18th.
